We have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Customer Service Agent with long established multinational based in Shannon, Co. Clare.    Position will be offered as full time permanent position and will report to Customer Service Manager.   Position offers attractive salary and benefits for the right candidate

Job overview
This position entails delivering first-line support to valued Customers, Distributors and regional sales staff in our markets with reference to multi-disciplined processes including Quotations, Sales Order processing, system set-up and maintenance, consignment stock management, return of materials along with pricing, supply chain and logistic queries. The successful candidate will be responsible for query management through all stages of call logging, escalation, and closure in collaboration with staff in Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, Distribution and Finance departments.
 
Duties and tasks
 • Fostering excellent relations with all customers and promote the professional image of the company Order Management for European & APAC based customers
• Responsible for processing sales orders accurately and in a timely manner
• Management of customer queries and complaints using CRM tool
• Quotations processing • Data integrity of customer profiles
• Consignment commercialisation
• Credit & Returns Process
• Pricing
• Assist your colleagues as the business demands & provide back-up during times of leave
• Take responsibility for other duties defined by the business that may be required from time to time.
 
Criteria skills
• Provide an excellent professional support to Customers, Distributors, Key Account Managers, and regional offices.
• Ability to work as part of a team and provide support when required
• Excellent ownership of issues and organisation skills
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing (additional European or Asian language such as Japanese, Mandarin would be an advantage)

 • Accuracy and attention to detail
 • A flexible approach is critical to successful deliver this role
 
 Education & Experience
 • Minimum 3 years professional experience in a detailed and complex customer sales support position is essential
 • Experience of working with JD Edwards or related systems
 • Experience of working with CRM tool is an advantage
 • Experience in the use of Microsoft office packages
 • Third Level qualification in Business or equivalent discipline an advantage
 
 Desirable Experience
 Experience of working in an international customer service or sales support role within a multinational company.

The ideal candidate will be confident, articulate and professional and be capable of championing customer service. He/she will have the ability work on their own initiative while also working as part of a team. The person will have an interest in trouble shooting, process improvement capability, ability to engage and work effectively with people at all levels within and external to the Company and capability to handle pressure when situations require. Willing and want to work in and environment that allows initiative and requires flexibility.
 
Travel
