Buying Administrator - Contract
Do you an interest in health & beauty? We are currently recruiting a Buying Administrator for a Dublin based leading Irish Pharmacy chain.
The Buying Administrator will work within the Cosmetic / Premium Beauty section, reporting directly to the Senior Buyer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a great team and gain some valuable experience in a Health & Beauty Pharmacy retail group.
This particular position will be based in south west Dublin and is a 12 month contract, with a flexible start time with the option to work on a hybrid basis after initial training.
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- Develop strong working relationships with colleagues, management and external stakeholders/clients
- Handling marketing requests, supplier orders and set up - working alongside the buying team
- Management of incoming mails and responding accordingly
- Provide administrative support to the purchasing team in areas such as premium buying, general shop, over-the-counter goods and electrical where applicable
- Ensure that Buying processes are implemented effectively and on time, by working closely with stakeholders
Qualifications & Experience:
- 1-2 years’ experience in an Administrative role or the ability to demonstrate comparable knowledge and skills
- Buying administration experience is desirable
- Minimum Leaving Certificate, but Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
- Strong proficiency in Excel
- Ability to plan and organise workload with an excellent attention to detail
- Understanding of retail operations, both online and in-store
- Demonstrated ability to working under pressure and to tight deadlines
