Process Engineer

eFlexes have a wonderful opportunity for an experienced Process Engineer to join a global leading company within the aviation sector.

Based in Shannon, Co. Clare and reporting to the Process Engineering Lead, the new Process Engineer will use technical and analytical skills to successfully implement change and drive long-term innovation and cost-saving improvements.  The successful candidate will be someone who can work independently, thrives under pressure and is committed to an exceptional level of delivery standards. 

Purpose of the role:

Deliver robust stable processes within Services to support reliable production within the Product teams.  Lead process improvement activity to increase flexibility (i.e., combination of runs) and reduce the costs of the services (i.e., reduction of gas usage).

Required Qualification/Skills

• Engineering Degree, preferably in Mechanical or Materials
• Approx. 2 years’ experience in a production / process engineering role
• Ability to understand complex processes involving multiple disciplines 
• Strong analytical / problem solving skills
• Competent communication & report writing skills
• Knowledge of material science relating to materials and processes would be desirable
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, using project management and influence skills to deliver business results
• Capable of managing projects & change management
• Ability to work quickly and achieve results
• Willing to make decisions and take responsibility for delivery of requirements
• Flexible, team player.
