Due to continued growth our Shannon based client have a new requirement for an IT Manager to join their Team.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the IT Manager will focus initially on the roll out of a new ERP system, in addition to the management of the company’s IT operations and infrastructure.
This is a great opportunity for an IT professional to expand their management and leadership skills in a growing company.
Responsibilities will cover:

Management of ERP implementations and projects (infrastructure rollout / consolidation / upgrade projects)

Manage all elements of service delivery to ensure the availability of a reliable and secure environment across the site

Implement IT standards, procedures and policies in line with industry best practice.
Candidates will require:
-
Educated to degree level in a computer science, graphic design or related discipline

3+ years commercial web development experience with PHP/MySQL
Proven SQL Programming and development skills

IT Management experience with strong ERP Implementation and Support experience, Infrastructure, Technical Project Management, Security, Applications
Project Management skills and experience in using structured project management frameworks

Knowledge of VB scripting; Office 365; SQL 2012/2014 Servers; Windows 2012/2017 FS

Business process mapping and documentation

Practical working examples of projects/products worked on with code samples
-
Some experience in eCommerce-based applications
