Our Shannon based client, a global multinational, are looking for a Procurement Buyer to join their team in Shannon, Co. Clare.
The Procurement Buyer will have the opportunity to own and manage purchasing deliverables within their scope of suppliers for two sites across Ireland and the USA. Utilising an approved supply base to support the material fulfilment requirements of the organisation, from quotations, price negotiation, purchase order placement, and expediting through to invoice resolution, to ensure requirement dates are met.

Qualifications & Requirements for the role:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent knowledge & experience

Minimum of 2-3 years of Procurement/Materials experience

Experience dealing with Suppliers and Supplier metrics

Knowledge and understanding of MRP processes and systems

Efficient with ERP/AP systems such as SAP / ARIBA

Strong Financial, negotiation and business analytical skills

Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
-
High level of organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
