Clinical Nurse Manager 1
eFlexes have a new opportunity for a CNM1 to join a lead agency in Community Healthcare as part of the Children’s Disability Network Teams. These teams provide services from 0-18 under the National Progressing Disability Services Programme. We are looking for a Candidate who is committed to providing a person centred socially inclusive service to people with an intellectual disability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Staffing & Leadership: Coordinate care, manage staff roster, and ensure proper induction. Lead interdisciplinary care and address absenteeism. Maintain medication standards.
- Professional & Clinical Responsibility: Provide high-quality care, uphold standards, and handle complaints.
- Planning: Prioritize and collaborate on goals. Advise on improvements and cost-saving strategies.
- Finance: Efficiently use resources and track expenditures. Account for service users' finances.
- Quality & Education: Monitor processes, evaluate quality assurance, and engage in professional development.
- Health & Safety: Report incidents, manage safety, ensure policy adherence, and report faulty equipment.
- General Duties: Promote awareness, act as Key Worker, maintain a welcoming centre. Drive Mini-bus.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A qualification in Nursing and current Registration with An Board Altranais (RNID qualification desirable)
- Three years post qualification experience including experience in the field of intellectual disability with supervisory experience.
- Experience of working with adults with ASD and behaviours that challenge.
- Managerial, administrative and clinical capability to fill the role including a high level of competency in the implementation of HIQA standards.
- The ability to work on one’s own initiative and or as part of a team.
- A full Irish/EU Driving Licence is a requirement for the post
