We are currently seeking a Mechanical/CNC Engineer to join a reputable fabrication company located in Shannon.
If you are a qualified Engineer with experience in AutoCAD, Creo, or Solid Works, possess a hands-on attitude, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this opportunity could be ideal for you!
Comprehensive training will be provided in CAD/CAM software, specifically Wicam and Epicor.
Duties will include:
• CNC programming: Using Wicam PN4000.
• Bill of Materials: Creation and maintenance using Epicor.
• Creating production drawings for new parts & prototypes.
• Work with tool makers on design of tools, jigs and fixtures.
• Redesign for manufacture.
• Answer any technical queries operators may have.
• Cost reductions and methods to improve production.
• Projects: Follow new parts/prototypes from start to completion.
• Managing Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
Desired Skills and Experience:

Candidates must have a third level qualification in Engineering.

Proficient with AutoCAD, Creo, or Solid Works.

Must be familiar with image editing software, Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to interact professionally with customers and management.
