A vacancy has arisen for a Practice Accountant to join an expanding Accountancy Practice based in
Ennis, Co. Clare.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a fully qualified Accountant with practice experience to join a supportive and collaborative team of professionals.
The position is fulltime, with flexible working options available including the option of part time for the right candidate. The Company also provides in house training and ongoing CPD.
The key duties of the post are as follows:

Preparation and review of end of year accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies

Preparation and review of Self-Assessment Tax Returns for Individuals, Partnerships and Companies

Preparation of Corporation Tax Computations for Limited Companies

Preparation, review and submission of VAT Returns and RCT submissions
-
Dealing with clients via phone, email and in-person meetings

Managing a portfolio of client accounts
Candidate requirements and qualifications:

Fully qualified with appropriate technical qualification
-
Recent and relevant experience in a practice environment

Current working knowledge of Irish tax laws and accounting standards applicable to small business

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and computerised accounting systems

Good people skills and be highly organised

A good command of the English language (both spoken and written)

Experience with accounting and tax software such as Relate, Sage, ROS and CORE would be an advantage

Proven ability to meet deadlines and be a team player.
