Digital Marketing Executive:

The Digital Marketing Executive role offers an exciting opportunity for an individual interested in playing a significant role within the tourism sector.

As a Digital Marketing Executive, you'll work closely with the Sales and Marketing team to execute the company's digital marketing strategy. Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager, you'll provide essential digital marketing support and collaborate with senior management to achieve marketing objectives.

 

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing a social and digital media marketing strategy, defining goals, identifying target audiences, and setting key targets.
  • Ensure the digital marketing strategy integrates online and offline marketing activities.
  • Create and manage a social media schedule, including post copy, messaging, audience details, and advertising specifics.
  • Source and collaborate with social media influencers.
  • Manage and track online digital marketing campaigns using analytical tools like Google Analytics and social media insights.
  • Liaise with external and internal organizations to gather new and relevant content for online platforms.
  • Provide training and knowledge sharing of digital content within the organization.
  • Maintain, update, and expand segmented customer databases.
  • Create and distribute mail shots with relevant copy.
  • Conduct market research online and offline.
  • Collaborate with online partners and attend trade events as necessary.
  • Assist in managing marketing budget lines, including Advertising and Cooperative Marketing.
  • Implement and track Service Delivery initiatives.
  • Source advertising opportunities and place adverts in various publications.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all customers.
  • Assist in delivering wider promotional remits, including liaison with stakeholders and attending events.
  • Collaborate with the Tourism Department on digital marketing initiatives, including website content moderation and sourcing/editing images and videos.

 

Requirements/ Essential Skills and Attributes:

  • Third-level qualification in Digital Communications/Marketing and PR, or a business/marketing discipline.
  • Proven organizational skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and flexibility.
  • Experience in marketing, digital marketing, and copywriting in a medium-sized enterprise.
  • Ability to demonstrate high levels of teamwork, motivation, and work under pressure to tight deadlines.
  • PC literate with good keyboard skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and familiarity with mobile devices.
  • Experience and strong skills in search engine optimization/marketing and pay-per-click marketing.
  • Strong administration and organizational skills.
  • Must be creative and client-focused.
