eFlexes are currently recruiting on behalf of a global engineering company for an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing weekly payroll for a team of 45 employees using TMS and Sage Micropay systems.
- Assisting in the preparation of Revenue returns.
- Handling Accounts Payable and Receivable tasks.
- Collaborating in the preparation of month-end management accounts.
- Generating statistical (CSO) reports.
- Managing HR functions such as recording holidays, sick leave, and issuing contracts.
- Undertaking various ad hoc duties as required.
- Conducting credit card reconciliations.
Essential Qualifications:
- Preferably a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Capability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Sage 50, Sage Payroll, TMS, and Excel.
- Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
