Responsibilities will include:

Preparation and review of end of year accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies

Preparation and review of Self-Assessment Tax Returns for Individuals, Partnerships and Companies
-
Preparation of Corporation Tax Computations for Limited Companies
-
Preparation, review and submission of VAT Returns and RCT submissions
-
Dealing with clients via phone, email and in-person meetings

Managing a portfolio of client accounts
Candidate requirements and qualifications:
-
Full or part qualified with appropriate technical qualification
-
Recent and relevant experience in a practice environment is essential

Current working knowledge of Irish tax laws and accounting standards applicable to

small business

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and computerised accounting systems

Good people skills and be highly organised

A good command of the English language (both spoken and written)

Experience with accounting and tax software such as Relate, Sage, ROS and CORE would be an advantage

Proven ability to meet deadlines and be a team player.
