A growing engineering company based in Shannon, Co. Clare, is looking for a CMM Operator on a full time permanent basis.
The CMM operator will join the Quality Team in helping to ensure that all products meet the standard of quality that the company is renowned for achieving.
Training will be provided, but candidates will require previous experience working with technical drawings, while computer skills and familiarity of Windows are an essential requirement.
This role also provides future opportunities for career development for an ambitious candidate with an interest in Quality and / or Engineering.
As a CMM Operator, you will be responsible for:

Inspecting machined parts using our CMM’s (Coordinate Measuring Machines)

Referring to Technical Drawings to ensure required measurements

Checking measurements and tolerances

Maintain safety and quality standards as set out in H&S regulations

Other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager
Candidates will require:

Previous experience or knowledge of Technical Drawings

Computer Skills with specific experience of Windows is an essential

GD&T (General Tolerance & Dimensions) Knowledge would be a distinct advantage

A high level of attention to detail
