This full-time, permanent position includes a 6-month probationary period and entails reporting directly to the Production Supervisor. As a valued member of the Instrument Build Department, your main responsibilities will involve configuring and plumbing various instrumentation, offering a diverse range of tasks within the department.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and thoroughly test system assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, units, and parts following established protocols.
- Conduct basic fault finding and continuously improve processes as required.
- Execute tasks efficiently and effectively, adhering to provided training.
- Perform meticulous in-process inspections to uphold quality standards.
Requirements:
- Possess strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also excelling as a team player.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools.
- Skilled in following procedures and accurately interpreting technical drawings.
- Previous experience operating general machinery such as lathes, mills, and sandblasters is advantageous.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience.
- On-the-job training will be provided.
