eFlexes has a new and exciting opportunity for a Castle Concierge with a client in the Tourism and Hospitality sector.
The new Castle Concierge will be the chief point of contact for guests at a 5-star accommodation in a castle situated in Co. Clare. The Castle Concierge will provide personalized and high-end service to guests, overseeing their visit and anticipating their needs with efficiency and discretion. They will work with and manage a team of staff to provide excellent service in a luxurious setting.
This role reports to the Director of Operations, so attention to detail is key for potential candidates.
Responsibilities will include:
- Greeting guests and acquainting them with the accommodation's amenities
- Anticipating guests' needs and resolving their problems
- Researching dining and entertainment recommendations and making reservations
- Providing directions and information about local points of interest
- Ensuring rooms and common areas are in line with 5-star standards
- Managing staffing payroll and attendance
- Coordinating events and activities for guests
- Overseeing household staff
- Organizing the household schedules
- Working with the team to promote a friendly, secure, and professional work environment
- Running essential errands for guests
Candidates will require:
- Previous experience within a 5-star hotel or similar
- Efficient multitasker with strong organizational and leadership skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and active listening abilities
- Attention to detail and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Ability to work well with others
- Impeccable attention to personal appearance
- Flexible weekend and nighttime availability
- The ideal candidate will hold a degree in hotel management and have 5+ years of working experience
- Prior experience as a Castle Concierge in either the hospitality or catering/event industry or as a domestic concierge will be an advantage.
