We are currently recruiting an experienced Finance Assistant with long established client based in Limerick City. Position will be offered on initial 6 months contract, with significant opportunity to extend for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
• Accounts Receivable function; ensure all aged debtors are chased and cleared in timely fashion.
• Filing of journal entries with supporting documentation.
• Responsible for AP & AR
• Invoicing and resolution of any related queries.
• Assist the Finance Manager with general duties as required.
• Attend to queries, collate and provide information as directed.
• General Finance Administration duties.
Key Skills:
• 2 to 3 years of experience working in similar type role in a busy finance department.
• Previous experience working to strict reporting deadlines.
• Ability to prioritise workload as per business reporting deadlines.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimum direction
• Strong IT skills including Microsoft, particularly Excel.
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as part of team.
