eFlexes have a new opportunity for an experienced Accounts Administrator to join a small firm based in Shannon, Co. Clare.  
The new Accounts Assistant will be responsible for looking after the accounts section of the business, working a minimum of 2.5 days per week and up to 4/5 days initially for the first two months.
Candidates should be self-motivated, with the ability to work independently, and have experience across the main responsibilities of the role as detailed below.  Previous experience of property services would be an advantage.
 
Responsibilities include:
- Processing banking payments and receipts, reconciling bank accounts and investigating any discrepancies
 
- Preparation of monthly management accounts to trial balance, including month end procedures and reconciliations
 
- Payroll preparation for less than 10 employees
 
- Credit Control
 
- Prepare and maintain client account reconciliations
 
- Journal Postings to the General and Sub ledgers
 
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
 
- Posting of cost and revenue accruals
 
- Preparation of balance Sheet reconciliations and profit and loss account analysis
 
- Maintain month and quarter end accounting procedures
 
- Liaise with external auditors of the company and maintain accurate records for Audit Purposes
 
- Ensure all tasks are conducted in a manner compliant with all policies, procedures, legislative and regulatory requirements
 
- Various ad-hoc queries/administrative duties
 
 
Candidates should have:
- Accounting Technician qualification or equivalent
 
- Proactive, confident, self-starter who can work on their own initiative
 
- Experience with Payroll and preparing year end accounts information
 
- Accounts Receivable experience
 
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
 
- Attention to detail
 
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
 
- Fluent English both written and verbal
