A Shannon based engineering company are looking for a qualified or part qualified Accounts professional to join their Finance team on a permanent, part time basis.
Working two days per week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 8 hours per day, this is a great opportunity for an Accounts professional to maintain broad Accountancy skills while continuing their studies or balancing home life.
Candidates should have experience in the following areas:

Payroll for a staff of 45, weekly using TMS & Sage Micropay

Cash-flow management
-
Filing of VAT Returns including postponed accounting, PAYE, VIES, RCT Returns

Overseeing Credit Control

Liaise with external auditors

Oversee the Accounts payable function

Other ad hoc duties

Audit preparation and management
-
Review and improve Finance policies, procedures and controls.
Qualifications & Experience:

Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant, or an Accounts Technician with experience across all of the above responsibilities

Experience in QuickBooks or Sage50

Fluent business English both written and verbal
