The new Data Analyst will provide support to a wide range of functions within the supply chain, finance, sales and planning function within the company, by extracting and disseminating data primarily from the ERP system, but also drawing from other systems like SharePoint, excel etc.

As Data Analyst you will need to be able to formulate requests from various departments into a workable data framework, and use this framework in order to extract, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information in order to produce a relatable data set that will be used to provide insights which will support various decision-making opportunities.  The successful candidate will need to be able to not only produce a resulting data analysis, but be able to validate the quality and validation of results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, analyse and present key business metrics to key stakeholders
• Analyse large datasets to produce new insights into business performance
• Run daily/weekly/monthly reports based on stakeholder requirements and provide feedback
• Identify trends and performance gaps in key business areas
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to understand emerging data metrics
• Perform data mining and data modelling tasks
• Identify, monitor, and follow-up on data improvement requests

 Qualifications & Experience:

• A 3rd Level Qualification in Physics, Math’s or Finance as experience is required in using mathematical and statistical techniques to analyse and drive forecasting improvements
• 3+ Years’ Data Analysis experience
• SQL experience
• Programming experience in any of VBA, C#, C++, Python or Java preferred
• Strong understanding of and proven reporting experience with Business Intelligence platforms
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to write detailed reports and develop standardized tools and methods
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as will be regularly liaising with peers, and superiors in all departments and possibly external contacts
