We currently have a new opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic UV Print Operator to join our long-established client based in Shannon, Co. Clare. You will be joining a production team that is driven by efficiency and precision and each team member makes a fundamental contribution to the business.
Education & Skill Requirements
• Experience with graphics and printing would be an asset.
• Basic understanding of graphics and printing is mandatory.
• Understanding and application of basic arithmetic.
• Possess effective communication skills written and oral in English.
• Must be team-oriented.
• Highly motivated and eager to learn.
• Solution-oriented.
• Problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities
• Daily maintenance of Roland Lef-300's.
• Communicate with management and team leads regarding printing issues and progress.
• Inspect and examine printed products for print clarity, colour accuracy, conformance to specifications, and external defects.
• Load, position, and adjust un-printed materials on holding fixtures or in equipment loading and feeding mechanisms.
• Monitor feeding and printing process in order to maintain specified operating levels and to detect malfunctions; make any necessary adjustments.
• Maintain operating consumables to ensure adequate supplies for daily jobs.
