Our Clare (Shannon) based multinational client in the aviation sector is now recruiting a Finance Assistant to join their growing team.
Main objectives will be:
• Preparation of cash flow and accounting reconciliations for a number ofclients.
• Provide input and support to accounting team.
The successful candidate will be in an assistant accountant position with relevant experience in a company finance department, will be proficient with Excel and related reporting tools and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, the main responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to the following:
• Verify all invoices have been correctly coded and authorised
• Posting cash / invoices onto system on a daily basis
• Bank Reconciliations
• Prepare VAT returns
• Be able to provide backup in office management functions
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE:
• Relevant industry experience an advantage
• Accounts Payable experience essential
• Company Secretarial / minute taking experience an advantage
• Excellent interpersonal/communication skills are essential
• PC literate with excellent Excel / MS Word skills.
• Oracle Financials an advantage.
• Ability to work within tight operating deadlines
• Highly motivated and able to work under own initiative
• Ambitious, proactive and a team player
