VP International Business Development (Sales Suppy Chain Solutions)

 
Due to rapid and continuing global expansion, our Client based in Shannon, Clare is now looking to recruit this role to accelerate international market penetration. Relocation to Ireland is not a requirement due to customer facing time with clients throughout Europe, Asia and the Americas.

Key Responsibilities:

  Proven track records in Logistics and or Supply Chain Solution selling, Business Development, Customer Acquisition, and Sales Contract Closure, managing critical contractual and pricing negotiations. 

• Win new business in line with contractually agreed targets.
• Managing the entire new business development process including tender and sales cycle
• Provide clear leadership and direction relating to all areas of customer expectations.
• Maintain sales funnel reporting using Sales Force.
Skills/Abilities
• Significant ability to influence senior customer management and stakeholders.
• Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the customer procurement
• Ability to support new business on-boarding programs including proven project management experience.
• Ability to perform in complex cross-functional business environment.
• Global perspective of business environment and technology.
• Motivational and visionary leadership skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Education/Experience
• Formal 3rd qualification and or compelling industry experience.
• Masters’ degree qualification is considered an advantage.
• 10+ years business experience.
• Proven ability to position service offering against competitors.
• Experience of tendering for contracts with global OEM’s and emerging eCommerce markets.
