Our client a leader in their industry is currently recruiting for the position of a Demand Planner to join their existing team based in Co. Clare. The position requires a Demand Planner with experience in demand forecast management, new product introductions and supply chain execution. Forecast accuracy, on time delivery, product life-cycle management and inventory across a range of product categories are key measures in this role.
Duties:
- Management & tracking of Inter-company Purchase orders including generating weekly status reports and meeting with US and European customer service to monitor fill rates and shipments.
- Maintain the demand forecast with regular reviews and analysis on actual demand, sales data, supply shortfall.
- Execute monthly demand reviews in conjunction with the planning team across a range of customers and /or product categories.
- Ensure monthly review cycle is met and always aware of any key issues/upcoming changes to demand including new customer launches.
- Focused regular review and validation of new products demand.
Responsibilities:
- The successful candidate should be able to work on their own initiative whilst also working in a team.
- Strong communication skills both written and oral.
- Diploma or degree level education.
- Excellent PC skills in particular Excel – pivot tables and V- look ups
- Knowledge of ERP systems
