5 Axis Milling Programmer
Our Shannon based Client is currently looking for an experienced 5 Axis Milling Programmer to join their Team. This is a permanent position with a long-established company providing precision engineering components for the aerospace and medical device industries.
Responsibilities will include:
- Precision machining a wide range of component parts, from Aerospace to medical device tooling
- Program and operate CNC Milling machines
- Comply with all new product documentation and process control procedures including CNC program control and fixture documentation
- Ensure components and finished products consistently meet design specifications and highest engineering and quality standards
Requirements:
- A minimum 5+ years’ experience working in a Precision Engineering environment
- Fully competent in 5 axis programming with Hypermill and/or SolidCAM is an essential requirement for this position
- Knowledge in programming and machining 5-axis a distinct advantage
- Problem solving / decision making ability
- Ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and conscientious/thorough approach to assigned tasks.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Be flexible, proactive, show initiative, teamwork & commitment
- Knowledge of Health and safety in the work place
- Fluent English and legally entitled to work in Ireland.
