We are currently recruiting for exciting new opportunity of Pricing Specialist (Inside Sales) with long established Clare based multinational client. Reporting to the Tactical Channel Specialist Team Leader you will be part of the European Channel Quoting Team.

In your role you will have full ownership for preparing quotes for our distribution channel partners. This is a responsible role where you will be expected to understand our product portfolio, our pricing structures to optimise margins and tactical pricing strategy. This role requires attention to detail, understanding our pricing strategy and customer segments to deliver the best quotes at the right margins to win the business. As part of the preparation of quotes you will conduct extensive research using the Model N price quote system and other tools. You will also work closely with our field sales and marketing teams. This is very much a team role and you will get to work in a supportive team environment where you will receive all the necessary training and coaching to ensure your success and that of the team.

Work Environment:

You will work among a friendly virtual multicultural European quoting team, and you will also be part of a Regional Team, working closely with your colleagues.

This position will expose you to:

• Understanding the companies business model and revenue goals, and drive actions aimed at meeting or exceeding them.
• Building professional relationships with our channel partners, aimed at retaining and winning new business.
• Building strong relationships with other departments and colleagues, and drive actions aimed at meeting or exceeding the company’s goals.

Key job responsibilities/duties include:

• Review quotes for existing and new business, assess which price should be quoted, process and complete the quotes in a timely manner whilst maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Ensure quote and project linkage for traceability.
• Support Channel partners with enquiries related to quotes, ship & debit and processes.
• Train distributors on process/policies related topics, including quote submission, use of the system, new customer name creation.
• Quote follow up with a sound profit and loss attitude and in collaboration with Tactical Marketing and local Client Engagement Manager or Regional Distribution Manager or Account Development Specialist.
• Support Customer Master Team in maintaining customer name database.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree holder in Business administration or related discipline.
• Experience in a Pricing role or Customer Service or Supply Chain role would be advantageous.
• Experience in the Technology, Electronics, Semiconductor Industry would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of Model N price quote system would be desirable.

Competencies
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Proficient in other European language skills would be advantageous, in particular Russian and German.
• Microsoft Office programs specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
• Customer service focused.
• Ability and willingness to work in a dynamic international environment, to interact and communicate with different cultures.
• Ability to work independently.
• Be open to ongoing learning and change.
• Willingness to travel occasionally in Europe or US for training purposes or meetings.
