We’re currently recruiting an experienced Account Receivable Associate for a multinational aviation client based in Shannon, Co. Clare. The role will primarily deal with account receivable including managing collections, invoicing, reconciliations and assisting with customer queries. You will report to the Senior Vice President Finance Operations and work closely with various other departments including Sales, Technical, Risk and Legal.
This role will be offered as a short-term maternity cover contract.
THE ROLE:

Managing and communicating with customers regarding invoicing, collections, reconciliations and answering any queries while ensuring accounting entries are up to date and correct.

Responsible for collection of amounts due and ensuring balances are managed and paid. Identify and seek solutions for any issues and escalate where necessary.

Maintain multiple bank accounts daily including allocating payments and receipts across multiple currencies.

Collaborating with other team members to complete month end reports, ledger and bank reconciliations, and preparing delivery of these reports to the customer.

Providing cross over assistance with systems, processes, compliance and other tasks related to month-end.

Quickly and actively ensuring customer queries are met in a timely and accurate manner.

Liaise with internal and external auditors to provide necessary support and assistance.

Assisting with other monthly reports and ad hoc duties required.
THE CANDIDATE:
-
Previous experience in accounts / finance role in high volume multinational company.

Degree in a finance or business-related discipline. Part qualified account or Accounting Technician level qualification.

Strong working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook. Knowledge of Teams and Zooms required also.

Experience dealing with systems on various platforms for data extraction and analysis.

Fluency in other languages desirable.

Background and experience in aircraft/engine leasing advantageous.
